Our Story
Every Filipino commuter knows the feeling: waiting on a platform, checking the time, wondering when the next train will arrive, and hoping they will not be late again.
TrainSight was born in 2025 from that everyday struggle. We experienced how the lack of reliable, real-time train information affects commuters, from students rushing to class to workers trying to get home on time. We believed that getting around should not have to involve so much uncertainty.
So we decided to do something about it.
What started as an effort to make train commuting more predictable became an opportunity to use technology to address a problem that millions of Filipinos experience every day. By combining software engineering, hardware engineering, and data science, our team built TrainSight to help commuters better understand what is happening on the rail lines.
Today, TrainSight provides real-time train arrival estimates, crowd density insights, and better visibility into railway operations. Our goal is simple: to give commuters information they can use to make better decisions about their journeys.
But as we continued building TrainSight, we realized that the problem we wanted to solve went beyond trains.
This became the foundation of InSight Transportation Technologies Inc. We saw an opportunity to apply what we learned from TrainSight to a bigger challenge: making transportation more connected, more transparent, and more accessible through technology.
TrainSight remains the beginning of that journey. It represents the problem that inspired us, the people who helped make it possible, and our belief that technology should serve a real purpose in people's lives.
As we continue to grow, we hope to bring that same approach to other areas of transportation and help build a future where people have better information, systems work better together, and every journey becomes a little easier.
